Governor of The Central Bank of Libya meets with Officials of the Arab Monetary Fund , International Monetary Fund and The World Bank at the “Stability For All” Conference held at Morocco

Mr.Saddek Omar Elkaber, Governor of The Central Bank of Libya accepted the invitation of the International Monetary Fund, The Arab Monetary Fund and the Moroccan Government to attend the conference held on the 29th of January 2018 at Marrakesh city under the name “Stability For All” and all meetings followed, as the Governor met with Mr.Abdullrahman Abdullah Alhmedi, chairman and Head of the board of Directors of the Arab Monetary Fund.

The meeting included discussions around the cooperation and coordination between the Arab Monetary Fund and the Central Bank of Libya.

Mr.Alhmedy praised during the meeting, the efforts provided by the Governor of The Central Bank of Libya, confirming his readiness for providing more cooperation and coordination.

Mr.Saddek Elkaber assured that The Central Bank of Libya is continuing in implementing policies supporting the economy of the Libyan State and stressed his keenness in continuing the naturalness of The Central Bank to stay an Independent Institution that seeks to preserve the Libyan Capabilities away from any political divisions.

Mr.Saddek Elkaber also met with Deputy of the Head of the International Monetary Fund, Executive manager of the International Monetary Fund and a number of Governors of Central Banks, Financial ministers and officials of The World Bank.
