They highlighted the importance of safeguarding central bank independence and preserving their capacity to fulfill core mandates and achieve objectives, especially given the intersection of fiscal and monetary policies and escalating economic and technological risks. Additionally, the talks explored ways to streamline banking procedures to support and facilitate bilateral trade between the two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, the Governor of the Central Bank of T\u00fcrkiye commended the ongoing efforts of the Central Bank of Libya and its successes in advancing the electronic payment ecosystem and expanding financial inclusion. He praised the CBL&#8217;s resilience in maintaining banking sector continuity and bolstering monetary and financial stability despite the exceptional circumstances facing Libya, notably political and institutional division, the presence of two governments, and the resulting economic and financial pressures and challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Concluding the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination, the exchange of technical and institutional expertise, and leveraging shared experiences to address monetary and banking challenges.
