{"id":16948,"date":"2017-11-14T10:41:22","date_gmt":"2017-11-14T10:41:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newcbl.demo.ly\/en\/notice\/"},"modified":"2023-05-21T12:20:14","modified_gmt":"2023-05-21T12:20:14","slug":"notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cbl.gov.ly\/en\/notice\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Libya received through its mail and through the media many observations on commodity and high prices as well as the increase in the US dollar exchange rate in the parallel market during the recent weeks , these observations were attributed to the discontinuation of the documentary credit system .<\/p>\n<p>The Central Bank of Libya assures in particular the following :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The suspension of documentary credits was based on the instructions of the head of the Audit Bureau and the Central Bank of Libya has no relation with this decision.<\/li>\n<li>Receiving requests for opening documentary credits and giving approvals is not the jurisdiction of the Central Bank since June 2017 as the ministry of economy received the file of documentary credits .<\/li>\n<li>we confirm that the resolution of stopping documentary credits is a direct reason for the commodity and high prices and the increase of the foreign exchange rate in the parallel market .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2406\" src=\"https:\/\/cbl.gov.ly\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/11\/notice-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Libya received through its mail and through the media many observations on commodity and high prices as well as the increase in the US dollar exchange rate in the parallel market during the recent weeks , these observations were attributed to the discontinuation of the documentary credit system .
