On Monday morning, 22 December 2025, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, H.E. Naji Mohammed Issa, held an expanded meeting with the President of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Mr. Khaled Shakshak, in the presence of a number of department directors and specialists from both sides. The meeting was held within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation and integrating roles between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, the observations of the Audit Bureau regarding the performance of the Central Bank of Libya were reviewed, key indicators and findings were examined, and several aspects related to performance development and the improvement of work mechanisms were discussed, in a manner consistent with the Bank\u2019s strategic objectives and supportive of its institutional efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting also addressed the Audit Bureau\u2019s observations concerning the approval of the financial statements for the years 2017\u20132025, as well as the requirements necessary to accelerate their approval and the cooperation of the relevant departments of the Central Bank of Libya in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
