As part of the first day of the Libya International Electronic Payment and Financial Technology Exhibition (EPEX 2026), H.E. Naji Mohammed Issa, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, conducted an inspection tour on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, covering all exhibition halls and participating booths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the tour, the Governor reviewed the latest services, technological solutions, and innovations presented by institutions and companies operating in the electronic payments and financial technology sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Governor also received detailed briefings from representatives of participating entities on their most prominent digital products and services developed to promote financial inclusion and facilitate electronic transactions. In addition, he was introduced to a range of future projects and initiatives that these entities intend to implement in the coming phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Issa emphasized the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments in financial technology and highlighted its vital role in supporting digital transformation efforts and advancing the banking and financial sectors. He commended the high quality of participation at the exhibition, noting that it reflects the significant progress achieved in the digital services and solutions provided to both individuals and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
