Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, H.E. Naji Issa, met at his office on the morning of Tuesday, 30 June 2026, with the Deputy Prime Minister, Eng. Salem Al-Zadma, in the presence of the Minister of Housing and Construction, Eng. Essam Al-Tamoni, and the Director of the Investment Department, Dr. Ali Rahouma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting focused on mechanisms for securing the financing required for priority development and public service projects across the various regions of southern Libya by ensuring the availability of the financial resources necessary to implement high-priority projects. These efforts aim to address citizens' needs and help overcome the development challenges facing the southern regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Discussions also covered a number of key development priorities, including infrastructure projects, road and transportation networks, support for the healthcare and education sectors, the rehabilitation and modernization of educational institutions, and the completion of the necessary financial procedures to accelerate the implementation of development and service projects. The participants emphasized the importance of translating government plans and programs into tangible projects that deliver direct and measurable benefits to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For his part, the Minister of Housing and Construction stressed the importance of coordinated national efforts to advance the housing sector in Libya.
