Naji Issa, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, met today, Wednesday 01\/07\/2026, at his office with the Minister of Interior, Mr. Imad Al-Trabelsi, of the Government of National Unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting discussed the latest developments in implementing the measures and directives that had been agreed upon, and strengthening coordination between the two institutions, particularly with regard to regulating the foreign exchange market, and monitoring the procedures for issuing licenses to exchange companies and bureaux in accordance with approved regulations. It also reviewed ensuring compliance by relevant entities with the rules and requirements governing this activity, in a way that contributes to combating negative practices and reducing unlawful activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Minister of Interior also presented the executive steps taken to develop the electronic payment mechanisms for fees related to services provided by the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated entities.
