Naji Issa, met on Monday, August 24, 2026, at his office with the Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity, Mr. Rashid Abu Ghafa, to follow up on matters related to fiscal and monetary policies, with the aim of enhancing coordination and synergy among state institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting addressed the monitoring of public revenue and expenditure, procedures related to the implementation of fiscal policy, and a number of priority economic and financial issues, most notably the measures taken to implement the Unified Development Agreement and adherence to its provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between fiscal and monetary policy and working to address any obstacles that may hinder the implementation of the agreed-upon procedures and programs, in order to support the achievement of economic and financial stability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, H.E.
