H.E Mr. Saddek Omar ElKaber, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, met with Dr. Omar Al-Obaidi, the Second Deputy Chairman of the High Council of State, along with members of the Economic Committee of the Council. During the meeting, they emphasized joint efforts between the High Council of State and the (CBL) to enhance the country’s financial sustainability. Transparency regarding the state’s financial resources and disclosure of such resources were also highlighted. Furthermore, they discussed the need to intensify efforts to achieve an inclusive economic vision that aligns with the state’s monetary policy and capabilities. Additionally, they addressed the issue of medical treatment abroad, focusing on implementing mechanisms to combat corruption in this area while ensuring access to medical services for eligible patients. The ongoing efforts to localize medical treatment within the country were also emphasized.
