Mr.Saddek Omar Elkaber , Governor of the Central Bank of Libya ,met with Mr.Peter Millett , the British Ambassador to Libya at his office , they discussed the economic and financial situation , as they both agreed that ending the political division and taking a step to a stable political situation ,beside ending the role of parallel institutions , will lead to the success of any economic and financial program for Libya.

The discussion also addressed the role of the Central Bank of Libya during this period and the support that the United Kingdom can provide for this role , as Mr. peter confirmed the support of his country for the efforts of the Central Bank of Libya and it's appeals concerning providing economic  and financial reforms for the current financial and economic crisis that Libya is going through .
