During their meeting on 29th, July 2024, H.E Mr. Saddek Omar ElKaber, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and the Ambassador of Italy to Libya Mr. Gianluca Alberini, covered several important topics. They explored potential cooperation between Libya and Italy in banking, strategies to combat AML/CFT and the associated risks. Additionally, they discussed leveraging the expertise of Italy in capacity building, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Italy.
