The Central Bank of Libya participated in meetings of the governors of the Central Banks of the member states organization of the Islamic conference OIC

Mr.Saddek Omar Elkaber , Governor of the Central Bank of Libya participated in the meetings of the governors of the Central Banks of the member states organization of the Islamic conference which was held in Turkey during the period 21-22 of September that aimed to strengthen the relation between member states and to work to exchange experiences and establish better mechanisms for cooperation among member states in various fields related to the competence of Central Banks and monetary institutions in order to support the economic and financial stability of member states , particularly in the technical development and electronic systems and upgrading work of Islamic finance mechanisms among member states in accordance to the best experiences of member states.

Nearly thirty countries participated in these meetings and were attended by a number of international institutions led by the international monetary fund ,besides a number of international experts who participated in enriching the discussions and presenting a range of experiences and ideas , the following meetings and workshops made a number of recommendations emphasizing the need to strengthen cooperation among member states and that the convening of this meeting should be regular and continuous , in addition to the formation of joint technical task forces to prepare scientific studies that contribute to the adoption of appropriate decisions.
