H.E. Mr. Naji Mohammed Issa, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, made a field visit to check the work progress at several branches of commercial banks in different areas of Tripoli. The visit aimed to follow up on the situation of citizens and to make sure that cash is available before Eid al-Adha On Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

During the visit, some of the issues facing a few banks were addressed. The Governor also listened to citizens' feedback and checked how smoothly the cash withdrawal process was going, making sure the plan to provide cash is working well before and during the holiday.

He praised the efforts made by most banks in providing cash, organizing their work, and solving some challenges in certain branches. There will also be follow-up visits tomorrow to make sure everything continues as planned.
