H.E Mr. Saddek Omar ElKaber, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, met with Mr. Michael Ohnmacht, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya,on Sunday,24th of March 2024. During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including the role of the Central Bank of Libya in maintaining financial sustainability and supporting efforts to enhance disclosure and transparency through data and circulars issued by the Central Bank. Other topics covered the unification of the central bank and updates on the unified budget for the year 2024 through the Financial Committee. Additionally, the possibility of training opportunities and capacity-building for the Central Bank staff in collaboration with the German Central Bank was explored.
