H.E Mr. Saddek Omar ElKaber, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, met with Mr. Joost Klarenbeek, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in monday 4th of march,2024, The meeting covered several important topics, including the unification of the Central Bank of Libya and the potential support for enhancing the capabilities of central bank employees in the areas of banking supervision and digital transformation. Additionally, the Netherlands expressed readiness to assist with addressing the rising groundwater levels in Zliten and facilitating the return of Dutch companies to resume their operations in Libya.
