Governor of the Central Bank of Libya participated in the meeting of Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers of the Middle East and Central Asia.

H.E. Naji Mohammed Issa, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, participated on Wednesday, 23rd of October, 2024, alongside Dr. Khaled Al-Mabrouk Abdullah, the Minister of Finance in the Government of National Unity. The meeting was attended by Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the IMF. They convened for a meeting of Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers from the Middle East and Central Asia, held under the auspices of the World Bank and the IMF. The discussions focused on several shared issues as part of the 2024 Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C.
