H.E Mr. Saddek Omar ElKaber, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, met with Mr. Mostafa Mihraje, the French Ambassador to Libya, on Wednesday, 8th of May, 2024. The meeting covered several topics, including the development and support of relations between the (CBL) and France in areas such as anti-money laundering, counterterrorism financing, compliance, risk management, and enhancing capabilities in the field of cybersecurity. The meeting also discussed the economic forum scheduled to take place in Paris on 3th of July, 2024, with an invitation extended to the Central Bank to participate, along with various local and international financial and economic figures.
