The Central Bank of Libya gave the approval to 54 companies on the 31st of July 2017 according to what was presented by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the National Accord Government to import the needs of Eid Aladha through documents of collection. The total value of approvals is $100 million(approximately equals 750 thousand sheep). The Central Bank of Libya announces that the Eid sacrifices should be supplied before the 20th of August 2017 thus the Ministry of Economy and Industry can coordinate with suppliers to implement an appropriate mechanism to ensure the arrival of the Eid sacrifices and their distribution with proper prices before Eid Aladha.
