The Central Bank of Libya announces the success of the first phase of the launch of LYPay, which was announced on August 1, 2024.
The Central Bank also informs that the daily transfer ceiling is 1,000 LYD, the weekly ceiling is 6,000 LYD, and the monthly ceiling is 10,000 LYD. The daily purchase ceiling is 3,000 LYD, the weekly ceiling is 10,000 LYD, and the monthly ceiling is 20,000 LYD.
The central bank will continue to raise these ceilings gradually.
