The Central Bank of Libya and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences have announced the new date for launching the Electronic Payment Forum and Exhibition, the largest banking event in Libya, which will take place from 15 to 17 June 2025 at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, under the generous patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.
This event is the first of its kind in Libya in terms of scale and specialization in the field of electronic payments. It aims to showcase the latest solutions and technologies in digital payments and to explore the prospects of digital transformation in the financial and banking sector. The forum will contribute to supporting financial inclusion strategies and enhancing the digital infrastructure of financial services in the country.
The forum is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including representatives from commercial banks, technology companies, government institutions, and local and international experts and specialists This makes it a leading platform for exchanging expertise and presenting initiatives and projects related to digital transformation in the financial sector.
The organization of this event comes within the framework of the Central Bank of Libya's ongoing efforts to promote financial innovation and activate modern payment systems. It is being held with the direct support and supervision of the Bank, and in cooperation with the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.
