As a part of the announcement made by the Central Bank of Libya regarding the launch of the “Instant Salary” system, the Bank conducted a trial for salary disbursement to beneficiaries on the test environment during the weekend in cooperation with commercial banks. The trials were successful with all banks participating in the system.

The Central Bank has also launched the “Instant Salary” feature within its dedicated platform for citizens, enabling them to verify whether their employment data has been referred by their institutions and matched with commercial banks.

Furthermore, the Central Bank of Libya continues to match accounts referred to it by the Ministry of Finance. Accordingly, the Bank announces its readiness to disburse salaries to employees whose data has been successfully matched, immediately upon receiving them from the Ministry of Finance.
