The Governor meets with the Delegation of The European Union and the French Ambassador
Mr.Saddek Omar El-Kaber , Governor of The Central Bank of Libya , held a meeting at his office in Tripoli on Wednesday the 4th of October 2017 with Mr. Johannes Hahn , commissioner of the European neighborhood policy (ENP), Mrs.Bettina Muscheidt , Head of the European Delegation to Libya and the accompanying delegation of the mission .They reviewed the efforts of the Central Bank of Libya to support the stability in Libya , besides discussing the financial and economic crisis experienced by the country.
At the end of the visit the members of the delegation assured the support of the European Union for the efforts of the Central Bank , particularly concerning the independence and impartiality of the Central Bank and it's role in combating money laundering and terrorist financing offences.
