Mr.Saddek Omar Elkaber , governor of the Central Bank of Libya , held a meeting on Wednesday morning 19^th of July 2017 at his office in Tripoli with the supreme committee of electronic payment services through mobile phones project to follow-up the process developed by the formed teams by the supreme committee concerning the project that had been referred to in the statement of the Central Bank of Libya that was published on the 28^th of May 2017 , besides checking  work reports of the technical team providing the technical work for the project and the profession team that works on the legislative and regulatory framework , and the mobile sales process. For this concern the Central Bank of Libya assures its commitment to the dates  mentioned in the statement , pointing that the next mid-august will be the launch of the experimental services of the system , so forward next September will be the actual launch of the electronic payment service through mobile phones. This will allow the Libyan citizen to use his phone as a device for paying his needs for markets and shops.
