The statement covers the period from 1st Jan to 30th Sept 2024 and provides details of all sectors.

The Central Bank of Libya announces the statistics of the (LYPay) instant payment service from its launching on August 1, 2024, to September 19, 2024.

The Central Bank of Libya announces the success of the first phase of the launch of LYPay, which was announced on August 1, 2024.

The Central Bank also informs that the daily transfer ceiling is 1,000 LYD, the weekly ceiling is 6,000 LYD, and the monthly ceiling is 10,000 LYD. The daily purchase ceiling is 3,000 LYD, the weekly ceiling is 10,000 LYD, and the monthly ceiling is 20,000 LYD.
The central bank will continue to raise these ceilings gradually.

The Central Bank of Libya is pleased to issue the monthly report on revenue and expenditure, during the period from 01/01/2024 to 31/08/2024.

Aiming to inform the public of the financial and economic performance clearly and comprehensively, on this occasion, the Central Bank of Libya confirms its continued efforts to achieve the highest rates of disclosure, transparency and accountability in all its operations. This step comes as a continuation of the efforts of the new administration towards developing direct and effective communication channels, to achieve its main objectives related to monetary and financial stability.
