Central Bank of Libya announces the upcoming launch of the First Forum and Exhibition on Electronic Payment in Tripoli

The Central Bank of Libya reaffirms the upcoming launch of the First Forum and Exhibition on Electronic Payment, which will take place at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from June 15 to 17, 2025. The event is held under the esteemed patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, and is organized by the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, with the wide participation of all commercial banks operating in Libya, as well as local and international electronic payment companies.

The forum aims to showcase the latest technologies and services in digital payment, promote financial inclusion, and encourage digital transformation within the Libyan banking sector by fostering collaboration among market stakeholders and facilitating the exchange of expertise in the field of financial technology.

The Central Bank of Libya confirmed that the exhibition will feature panel discussions and specialized workshops focusing on the challenges and opportunities in the electronic payment landscape, in addition to presenting innovative solutions aligned with international standards of security and efficiency.

This event serves as a strategic platform to strengthen the integration between the banking and technology sectors and comes as part of the Central Bank's ongoing efforts to modernize the country’s financial infrastructure and support innovation in financial services positively contributing to the national economy.
