The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) published today, 5th Sept 2022, its monthly Revenue and Expenditure Statement. The statement covers the period from 1st Jan to 31st August 2022, and provides the details of all sectors (a total of 36 sectors) and their affiliated entities (a total of 910 affiliated entities). The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) published today, 4th July 2022, the Revenue and Expenditure Statement in its new form. The statement covers the period from 1st Jan to 30th June 2022, and provides the details of all sectors (a total of 36 sectors) and their affiliated entities (a total of 878 affiliated entities). Meeting of the Governor and the Deputy Governor to follow up on the implementation of the reunification project ,,

 Mr. Saddek Omar Elkaber, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and Mr. Ali Salem Alhebri, the Deputy Governor, held today, Monday the 28th of February a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Central Bank of Libya reunification project in the presence of the Project Management Office consisting of reunification directors and experts from Deloitte, leading professional services firm.

During this meeting, the committee followed up on progress developments of the reunification process.

The United States of America welcomes the actual launch of the reunification process of the Central Bank of Libya,,

Mr. Richard Norland, the US Ambassador to Libya, welcomed the Central Bank of Libya’s announcement of the actual launch of the process of reunification of the Central Bank of Libya, describing it as an important and excellent step that proves the seriousness of the Central Bank in accomplishing this work, affirming the full support of United States of America of this step, during his meeting with Mr. Saddek Omar Elkaber, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya on Thursday 20/1/2022 in the Tunisian capital.

The actual launch of the reunification process of the Central Bank of Libya was announced by the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Mr. Saddek Omar Elkaber, and the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ali Salem Alhebri, in their meeting held today, Thursday 20th January 2022, as a culmination of the efforts placed to accomplish this task. During this meeting, a contract to provide professional services to support in the delivery of the agreed Reunification Roadmap was signed with Deloitte, leading professional services firm. The Reunification Roadmap, which will be comprised of four stages, will result in an advanced operating model for the unified central bank that applies international standards and best practices. The Governor and his deputy emphasized their continued commitment to the spirit of cooperation and tireless work to achieve this important national achievement.
